Uchechukwu Anthony popularly known as made it to the limelight after punch reported that an upcoming artist who identified himself as was arrested and paraded alongside 1,320 others by the Lagos State command of the Nigerian police at the command headquarters on Wednesday 14/07/2021, the report which includes a short video letter went viral on social media and got Nigerians talking.

His ordeal caught the attention of many fans and many top Nigerian celebrities which includes AY the comedian, rugged Man and other celebrities who reposted the video to spread the news.

After after receiving several attacks on social media by fans and lovers of a.k.a , the Nigerian police on Thursday confirmed his release and stated (as reported by Punch) that they had run a background check on him and found out that he has a means of livelihood and that he was released with many others who were not found wanting.
